People ask us all the time: what’s the difference between Outlaw X and the Tannerite® brand? There are a couple of fundamental ones.
Denser prills, more weight per container
Our prills are dense, where the Tannerite brand uses a fluffier, more porous type of prill. Because Outlaw X is denser, you fit more prills in a smaller container — which means more weight. Fill two like-sized containers and, typically, Outlaw X will weigh roughly 1/3 more.
A fireball, not a water vapor cloud
Our product produces a fireball reaction, where the Tannerite brand produces a water vapor reaction. Both give you a very loud report — they just look different downrange.
So which is best?
Try them both and find out! Both are solid targets with a loud report. The best way to pick a favorite is to run them side by side at the range.
As always, like all binary targets these ship as two separate, non-explosive components and are only explosive once you mix them yourself. Mix and use responsibly and in line with all federal and state laws.
